West Ham are reported to have identified Santiago Castro as a target for the club this summer.
The Argentine striker, who plays for Italian side Bologna, has been in fine form this season with 8 goals to his name, and being just 20 years old makes it that West Ham are likely to face competition for his signature.
According to Tuttosport, who broke the story, Inter Milan are huge admirers of the versatile forward and are understood to have made him a top target for them once this current campaign draws to a close.
West Ham though feel that Castro could be an ideal option for Graham Potter, as he operates well in a system for Bologna that shares similarities with how Potter tends to operate, especially since his arrival in east London in January.
As has also been widely reported also to date, West Ham are also still very much firmly in the mix to land Lille striker Jonathan David.
