Kylian Mbappé (25) will refer Paris Saint-Germain to the LFP disciplinary committee for the “failure to pay bonuses and salary,” the AFP understands.

For months, Mbappé and his former club have been in conflict over the non-payment of bonuses and salary amounting to €55 million. PSG believe that the now-Real Madrid player had agreed to forgo this amount if he were to leave the club on a free transfer. However, Mbappé and his lawyers believe that their gentleman’s agreement was broken and that he is within his rights to claim the €55 million.

Mbappé’s claim was supported by an injunction from the LFP legal committee on September 11th and then the joint appeal committee on October 25th, which demanded that the club pay their former player. However, PSG has refused this, while a request from the club to the French Football Federation to review the matter was denied.

Mbappé-PSG hearing to take place on 11th of December?

AFP writes that an internal source at the LFP has disclosed that Mbappé will refer the matter to the disciplinary committee. According to that same source, a hearing will take place on the 11th of December.
