Barcelona and Spain forward Lamine Yamal achieved an incredible feat by winning UEFA EURO 2024 and being named the Young Player of the Tournament, just one day after his 17th birthday.

It must be noted that Yamal played in all seven of Spain’s EURO 2024 matches, starting in six of them and only missing the starting lineup in the third match against Albania, ending the campaign with one goal and four assists.

His contributions were particularly notable during the knockout stages. Yamal scored a crucial goal against France and assisted in three other goals during matches against Georgia, Germany, and England.

This brought his total contributions in major international tournament knockouts to four goals and assists combined.
