Picking up seven points in their last three games and scoring seven goals in the process, Luton Town find themselves in good form going into the clash with Derby County.
The Hatters also travel with confidence knowing that they have a fully fit squad to choose from tomorrow evening.
With a victory against The Rams, The Hatters could head into the play-off places, but they will be wary that Wayne Rooney’s side are also proving to be tough opposition.
With both sides not conceding in their last three games, and a 0-0 scoreline being a common result for both, The Hatters will be hoping that they will have enough attacking firepower to get past a resilient and experienced backline.
Here, we take a look at how Luton could line up for tomorrow’s clash with The Rams…
Luton will be hoping to establish a balance of not naming too many changes to disrupt the momentum, but enough to keep things fresh during a three-game week.
Simon Sluga secured his sixth clean sheet of the season at the weekend, and whilst Millwall did not create too much, he did brilliantly well to deny Jed Wallace from the spot.
Tom Lockyer, Sonny Bradley and Kal Naismith have all been excellent in the last three games, with their composure in possession, coupled with their physicality, helping Luton to three consecutive clean sheets.
Amari’i Bell and James Bree are proving to be competent defenders, but real attacking threats when going forward, and they should be handed starts once again.
Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu returned to the starting line up on Saturday, putting in a solid performance on his return. Given his high levels of fitness, he will be ready to go again on Tuesday.
Glen Rea has been excellent since Nathan Jones brought him in from the fringes, however, for the sake of rotation, Henri Lansbury could be brought in.
The inclusion of Jordan Clark in this predicted line up is about as 50/50 as it can get. The versatile man grabbed two assists against Millwall and is an exceptional player for Nathan Jones to have at his disposal, but equally, Luke Berry has been terrific this season, contributing goals, assists, and chances for his front men.
Elijah Adebayo and Harry Cornick are causing defence all sorts of problems in recent weeks, and for that reason, they should be tasked with trying to break down the meanest defence in the Championship.
