Newcastle United will face off against Burnley at Turf Moor this Sunday afternoon as they try to collect maximum points on the road. The Magpies managed to secure an impressive 2-0 victory over Arsenal earlier this month, so they will be full of confidence ahead of this league clash away at Lancashire.
Eddie Howe might set his players up in a 4-3-3 formation and could make a couple of changes to his first-team for this game. Both Jamaal Lascelles and Kieran Trippier are expected to play from the start in this weekend’s contest versus the Clarets.
Defence
Martin Dubravka will function in between the sticks for the Magpies after securing a clean sheet versus Arsenal in his last league appearance. Jamaal Lascelles will operate alongside Dan Burn at the centre of Newcastle’s defence as they focus on keeping a clean sheet versus Burnley this weekend.
Kieran Trippier could get the nod to start at right-back while Matt Targett looks to put in a good display as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to express themselves in the opponent’s half.
Paul Dummett and Federico Fernandez will be available for selection on the bench as they provide cover for the defensive positions.

Midfield
Howe could choose to go with a midfield comprised of Joelinton, Sean Longstaff and Bruno Guimaraes for this game. Guimaraes has enjoyed a good run of form of late, so he will be expected to make a real difference in the final league game of this campaign.
Jacob Murphy will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if needed.
Attack
Allan Saint-Maximin will try to put his pace to good use on the left flank while Miguel Almiron hopes to catch the eye from the right.
Callum Wilson will lead the charge for the Magpies in the final third. The English striker will be eager to score a goal after what has been a tough season for him.
Dwight Gayle will make up the numbers on the bench as he awaits his chance to shine in the latter stages if required.
