Goalkeeper Olivia Clark kept her side on level terms at half time, pressuring Martina Surnovská into pulling a good chance wide and pushing away another attempt from the same forward, Klaudia Fabová putting the loose ball over the top.

Josie Green had to intervene at the last and concede a corner three minutes into the second half but from the set-piece the ball fell to Surnovská, who found the back of the net from 20 yards.

Ten minutes later and Mária Mikolajová whipped a superb free kick into the top corner of the Welsh goal.

Rachel Rowe went close and Kayleigh Barton threatened but was given offside anyway, before substitutes Jess Fishlock and Morgan combined for the latter to finish across the keeper.

Fishlock went down under a challenge in the box during stoppage time but nothing was given, leaving her side with a deficit to make up at Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday.
