It is a big January transfer window coming up for Hull City, with manager Liam Rosenior keen to put his mark on the squad.
The Tigers currently sit 21st in the Championship and are two points above the relegation zone in what has been a disappointing season so far.
Rosenior, who had a spell as interim manager at Derby County in League One earlier in the campaign, was appointed as Shota Arveladze’s replacement in September and has made a decent start to life at the MKM Stadium, with one win and three draws from his opening five games.
But he will be keen to strengthen ahead of what looks set to be a survival fight and we take a look at some of the latest transfer rumours surrounding the club ahead of the window opening next month.
Potential Rak-Sakyi move
One name linked with the club in recent days has been that of Crystal Palace forward Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.
The 20-year-old is currently on loan in League One with Charlton Athletic, but according to journalist Alan Nixon, the Tigers are one of the clubs keeping tabs on him, along with Millwall, Ipswich Town and Sheffield Wednesday.
Rak-Sakyi has done well for the Addicks with five goals and two assists in 18 appearances, but it has been a season of struggle for the club and they currently sit 18th in the table, just four points above the relegation zone, leading Palace to consider sending him elsewhere.
Dean Holden has just been appointed as the new Charlton manager so that may change the situation, but if he is called back, the Tigers could be a possible destination.

Rosenior confirms Ebiowei interest
Another Palace player being monitored by Hull is winger Malcolm Ebiowei.
Rosenior worked with Ebiowei at Derby previously and the club are in talks with the Premier League side over a potential deal. When asked about the situation, Rosenior confirmed he would like to be reunited with the 19-year-old.
“He’s (Ebiowei) one of a few people we’re looking at,” Rosenior told Hull Live. “It’s up to Crystal Palace as his parent club what they do with him. He’s in our thoughts as many people are at the moment, but there’s nothing concrete right now.
“It’s just about making the team as strong as possible in the short term.”
Competition for Porteous
As well as Rak-Sakyi and Eboiwei, Hull have joined the queue for Hibernian defender Ryan Porteous.
The 23-year-old turned down the offer of a new contract at Easter Road and Hibs manager Lee Johnson confirmed that the club are expecting him to leave in January.
According to The Sun, Hull are the latest Championship side to enter the race, with West Bromwich Albion, Watford, Norwich City, Stoke City, Sunderland and Millwall also keen on the centre half.
The Tigers are reportedly preparing an offer next month and it would be a significant coup should they bring him to East Yorkshire.
Rosenior would like to bring in additions in January, but he has also made clear his intention to cut down the size of the squad.
One player who will be allowed to depart in January is striker James Scott, who has not made an appearance for the club in over a year and spent last season out on loan with Hibernian.
The 22-year-old was left out of the squad earlier in the season meaning he is unable to feature and Rosenior confirmed he can leave next month.
“He didn’t travel with us to Turkiye because I had to cut the squad down,” Rosenior told Hull Live. “I had a really great conversation with him, and from my point of view, he needs to find the best solution for his career.
“As a club, I would say that we’re all on the same page. He’s done absolutely nothing wrong but at the same time, in terms of my short-term plans, he’s not a part of them and hopefully, he can get fixed up.”
