Lausanne Sport have dropped their asking price for Celtic and Leeds United target Alvyn Sanches, but would be happy to keep him if it is not met, according to the Daily Express.

Celtic want to strengthen in four different positions before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.

They may lose midfielder Matt O’Riley and Sanches could be viewed as a replacement by Brendan Rodgers.

Leeds are also in the market to make additions amid a difficult summer window which has seen the club sell a host of first team players.

Lausanne have been looking to earn £4m from selling Sanches this summer.

Now though Lausanne are asking for £3m to let the player go and the Switzerland Under-21 international is also happy to make the move.

Lausanne though have no financial need to sell Sanches and would be happy to keep hold of him.

A drop in asking price though is likely to make the highly rated midfielder an even more attractive prospect for interested clubs.
