The Biancocelesti striker has suffered an injury to the calf in his right leg according to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, which means that he will miss around 15 days worth of training. That puts him at risk of missing out on the Serie A matches against Torino and Atalanta after the March international break.

He made his return with a 67-minute appearance in the 1-1 draw against Viktoria Plzen on Thursday, but was afforded a rest and was left on the bench for the 5-0 hammering by Bologna in Serie A over the weekend.

Lazio are also monitoring situations involving Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Nuno Tavares. The former had returned from an ankle issue, but has since had to stop again after reporting pain in his foot.

Tavares, meanwhile, has gone away with Portugal for international duty despite reporting fatigue. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Lazio are slightly frustrated by the situation, as the full-back avoided having medical tests in Rome in order to meet up with his national team.
