Marek Rodak has emerged on the Whites' target list, with fellow shot-stopper Meslier being linked with a move away from Elland Road.
Fulham goalkeeper Marek Rodak has emerged on Leeds United's radar, according to the Daily Mail.
The West Yorkshire side may only have a limited budget to play with during the summer transfer window, with the club needing to watch their costs following their play-off final defeat against Southampton last month.
They are in a strong position to sell some of their key players for huge amounts, which could give Daniel Farke a decent amount to spend in the coming months.
However, the Whites may be keen to retain the vast majority of their key players after managing to register 90 points last season and make it to the play-off final.
Inevitably though, some of their most important players will be heavily linked with a move away from Elland Road, with their defeat at Wembley a consequence of that.
Crysencio Summerville is one player who has already attracted plenty of interest - and it wouldn't be a surprise to see several teams linked with moves for Willy Gnonto and Archie Gray between now and the end of the transfer window.
One of these players may need to be sold for a high fee as Leeds look to balance the books, although there are plenty of other first-teamers who could attract a big bid, including some of those who went out on loan last term following the club's relegation from the Premier League.
Goalkeeper Illan Meslier was one of the first names on the teamsheet for the Whites last term and pulled off some remarkable saves.
It's no surprise to see him do well - and it's also not a shock to see him linked with another club - with French top-tier outfit Marseille thought to be keen on luring the goalkeeper back to his home nation.
That's according to the Daily Mail, who have also reported that Leeds are likely to demand in excess of £20m for the stopper, who still has two years left on his contract.
The same outlet believes Rodak is currently on the club's target list, with the Whites previously anticipating interest in Meslier, but note that an approach for the Cottagers' player isn't certain at this stage.
Rodak has won promotion from the Championship before, so he knows what it takes to reach the top level.
As well as this, he hasn't really featured much for the Cottagers since their return to the top flight and with the player being released, he's available on a free transfer.
In their likely quest to balance the books, the Whites can't afford to spend too much on transfers, so securing a high-calibre player like Rodak for nothing would be ideal.
It would be difficult to see the goalkeeper demanding a huge salary too, so he could be a very good option that provides value for money.
And at just 27, he could be an excellent long-term addition to have at Elland Road, making him an excellent addition for the club.
