Legia Warsaw announced their first capture of the summer transfer window on Wednesday, with the signing of striker Blaž Kramer from FC Zurich. The 25-year-old has agreed a deal to take him to Łazienkowska 3 until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Five-time Slovenian International Kramer becomes Kosta Runjaić’s first signing as Wojskowi manager, having spent the last three years in Switzerland. His four goals in 21 games this campaign helped Zurich to their first league title in 13 years. Prior to his arrival in Zurich, he spent three years in Germany with Wolfsburg’s second string, and several years a club’s in his homeland.
At 191cm in height, Kramer will be seen as the successor to the slightly taller Czech striker Tomáš Pekhart, who is rumoured to be on the radar of fellow Ekstraklasa side Raków Częstochowa.
