Leicester must beat teams like Brentford or they're down

It may feel like stating the absolute obvious, but Leicester City must begin winning Premier League games. The run of matches the Foxes have just played, and mostly lost, weren't that tough. Though the upcoming fixtures are arguably more winnable for a club such as LCFC. Apart from beating a floundering Tottenham Hotspur outfit, Ruud van Nistelrooy's men have shown or done little to show that they deserve to stay in the English top flight.
If City cannot muster the spirit, dedication, concentration and quality to defeat sides like Brentford - then they're relegated already. A squad of dead men walking destined for the dreaded drop down to the Championship. And this assessment is not a jab at the Bees. Far from it. I'm actually a rather large admirer of what Thomas Frank has achieved in west London.
Yet Brentford, as with similar mid-table clubs, are there for the taking if the Foxes are serious about staying up. The Bees are 11th in the standings at present, meaning they have been as inconsistent as others. Can City get the better of the Bees? What do we predict for the encounter? And how does LCFC's schedule look following that particular match?
Besting Spurs certainly offered promise to the unnecessarily suffering Blue Army. But that optimism unfortunately evaporated fast. Since the Tottenham game, Leicester have not won in three outings in all competitions. And time is running out for LCFC this season.
Van Nistelrooy must now take risks; you will hear this said in all corners of the media and socially at this stage. The Dutchman has to trust attack over defence; a strange prospect when considering his own attacking prowess.
If I were RvN, I would try something different versus the Gtech Community Stadium side at King Power Stadium. A three centreback system pushing wingbacks forward might be successful. However, Victor Kristiansen will require help against Bryan Mbeumo.
"How Brentford play: Frank prioritizes playing through the middle. He needs one player high and wide to pull apart the backline while the rest create numerical advantages in the midfield areas. This builds good conditions in defensive transitions, allowing more players to press when they lose the ball"The Football Analyst
