Leicester trophy-winner aims harsh dig at Vardy's wife | OneFootball

The Leicester City legend that is Jamie Vardy made an emotive yet not surprising statement to the Foxes fan base last week. The Blue Army, as the collective support are known, were jointly upset and left in unknown circumstances after their favourite son quit the team. Vardy has often carried LCFC when few other stars of the side showed much willing, quality or fight. His ability and determination to win for the East Midlands outfit was an inspiration over the years.

So it is with a heavy heart that the King Power faithful watch the former England international striker finally leave when the current campaign ends. Even Leicester's under pressure chairman Aiyawatt 'Khun Top' Srivaddhanaprabha is said to keenly listen to and totally respect Vardy. However, not everyone associated with the Foxes is a big fan of the centre forward.

It has recently been claimed that the Leicestershire club's powerful but generally disliked director of football Jon Rudkin has clashed with Vardy in many instances. The City executive is not believed to enjoy or favour Vardy nor his influence over proceedings on Filbert Way. You can certainly see the point here on either side of the argument. In addition to Rudkin, a one-time LCFC player has now aimed a harsh seeming dig at Jamie Vardy's wife, Rebekah. But what exactly did the Leicester trophy-winner say about the Vardys?

Obviously away supporters are not particularly fond of Vardy. He's mostly scored against them all and celebrated wildly in their faces. So that's understandable too.
