Lens interested in Zakaria Aboukhlal and Gaëtan Perrin | OneFootball

According to a report from La Voix du Nord, RC Lens are considering a move for either Toulouse FC’s Zakaria Aboukhlal (24) or AJ Auxerre’s Gaëtan Perrin (28) as they look to bolster their attacking numbers ahead of the window shutting in France tonight.

Les Sang et Or are hopeful that they can strengthen their options in attack before the end of the deadline day. The club are searching for a return to Europe and currently sit sixth in the standings under head coach Will Still, who only joined the club over the summer after a successful stint with Stade de Reims.

Lens have the best defensive record in the league but scoring goals has been a bigger issue for the side who have registered the least amount of goals (25) in the top half of the table. However, the team will have to cope with the departure of their starting centre-backs Abdukodir Khusanov (20) and Kevin Danso (26).
