Facundo Medina will miss the first leg of RC Lens’ UEFA Europa League tie against Freiburg through suspension. Massadio Haïdara looks set to take his place in the starting XI.

Deiver Machado is the only other major absentee for Franck Haise, who has a near-complete squad to choose from. The major question mark surrounds who gets the nod in the midfield. Andy Diouf played a reduced role in the UEFA Champions League campaign, however, his recent return to form could see him start against Freiburg. L’Équipe understands that Neil El-Aynaoui will partner the France youth international, however, Haise is blessed with options in the midfield. Salis Abdul Samed and Nampalys Mendy are both in contention for a place in the XI.
