Leicester City may look to Bristol City manager Liam Manning as they hope to return to the Premier League next season.

The Foxes will finish either 18th or 19th this season depending on the results from the final day. After starting the season with Steve Cooper at the helm, Leicester were unable to see any improvement under Ruud van Nistelrooy with the Dutchman winning just four of his 24 games in all competitions.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Robins' boss Liam Manning is among the candidates to replace Van Nistelrooy for the 2025/25 campaign.

Bristol City drew 2-2 with Preston North End on the final day of the Championship season to guarantee a play-off place – the first for the club since the 2007/08 season.

In total, Manning has overseen 83 games with the Robins in all competitions, with a record of 29 wins, 28 draws, and 26 defeats.
