Whilst Lille OSC remain blighted by injuries to some important squad players, Paulo Fonseca can at least count on the return of Adam Ounas when they travel to face Stade Brestois on Sunday.

Samuel Umtiti, Tiago Morais and Andrej Ilic all remain absent for Lille, however, Fonseca now has Ounas at his disposal once again. The Algerian international has made the travelling squad, however, he is expected to start on the bench.

It is Angel Gomes, who has become more accustomed to playing in a deeper No.8 role, who is expected to start just behind Jonathan David – the most in-form goalscorer in Europe’s top five divisions in 2024. Rémy Cabella may therefore have to settle for a place on the bench on Sunday.
