The injury to winter signing Andrej Ilić has left Paulo Fonesca to once again rely upon a forward line with Lille OSC that he had been desperate to strengthen.

Jonathan David has been rotated frequently this season with rumours circling that his head has been turned since last summer, and will start on the bench for this crucial game against Paris Saint-Germain.

Fonseca will instead turn to the goal-shy Yusuf in the number nine role. Behind the Turkish striker Angel Gomes and Edon Zhegrova will be relied upon to provide added creativity, while Gabriel Gudmundsson may help Ismaily in his defensive responsibilities.

Focus will of course fall upon Leny Yoro whom PSG publicly courted during the past transfer window, and it is expected that the Lille centre-back will be the subject of an intense transfer bidding war over the summer. For now, he will hope to limit Les Parisiens and boost Lille’s pursuit of a Champions League place.
