Lille predicted XI v Rennes: Nabil Bentaleb to be named in squad, Edon Zhegrova out | OneFootball

Nabil Bentaleb has been absent since suffering a cardiac arrest during the summer, however, he is expected to be named in the Lille OSC squad to face Stade Rennais on Sunday.

The Algerian returned to first-team training this week having been given the green light to resume his playing career. Already fit but without match sharpness, he could make his return off the bench. There are, however, other absences for Lille as they travel to Rennes.

Samuel Umtiti also returned to first-team training but he remains some way off a return. Tiago Santos, Rémy Cabella, Matias Fernandez-Pardo, and Edon Zhegorva are all also out for Bruno Genesio’s side as they look to return to winning ways following last weekend’s shock defeat to Le Havre AC.
