Lille OSC face Slavia Prague in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League play-off on Tuesday, hoping to book their place in the group stages of the competition.

Bruno Genesio, in his first Ligue 1 game in charge of Lille, rotated his side against Stade de Reims, with Jonathan David notably replaced by Mohamed Bayo. The former will naturally return against Slavia Prague to lead the line. However, one player that will not feature is Angel Gomes, who was the victim of a serious head injury in the first-half of that 2-0 victory over Reims.

The England youth international was rushed to hospital after being evacuated from the pitch. Tests were ultimately reassuring and Gomes returned home the following morning, however, he will not be featuring against Slavia Prague, or at the weekend. Having received a red card in the last qualifying round, Aïssa Mandi is suspended.
