Manchester City’s Barclays Women’s Super League meeting with Liverpool has been altered for live television coverage in the United Kingdom.

Gareth Taylor’s side will still welcome Matt Beard’s to the Joie Stadium on Sunday 16 February, but the clash will now kick-off at 18:45 (UK) and be broadcast on Sky Sports in Great Britain.

It will represent the second time we will have faced the Merseyside outfit this term after our dramatic 2-1 win in October’s reverse fixture at Anfield.

Having found ourselves a goal down at half-time following Olivia Smith’s opener, Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw equalised on 58 minutes before she netted in second-half stoppage time to  euphorically help us to three points.

City last welcomed Liverpool to the Joie Stadium in January 2024 where a Shaw hat-trick alongside a Gemma Bonner own goal and Chloe Kelly's penalty secured a superb 5-1 triumph.
