Liverpool fans were able to debut a famous song in Europe vs Bayer Leverkusen. The Reds are hitting new heights, after all.

Liverpool had a fantastic match on Tuesday as they welcomed Bayer Leverkusen to town. It was another test of Arne Slot's Reds - and he apparently needs a lot of those before people starting believing.

This was against Xabi Alonso, too - one of Liverpool's top choices for the head coach role this year, along with Slot. It's safe to say the Dutchman got the better of him.

A pretty even first half saw Liverpool tinker their gameplan a bit for the second half. It worked wonders, with the Reds absolutely overwhelming Leverkusen.

Curtis Jones found Luis Diaz for the first, before Mohamed Salah supplied a perfect cross minutes later for Cody Gakpo to double the lead. Diaz would then go on to score two more to complete his hattrick and send Liverpool home 4-0 winners.

With that, it's four wins from four in the new-look UEFA Champions League. And that provided fans with an opportunity.
