Liverpool’s teenage winger Kaide Gordon is expected to join Norwich City on loan, according to the Hull Daily Mail.
Gordon joined the Merseyside giants from Derby County in February 2021 but has failed to make his mark at the top level so far.
Besides the seven senior appearances he has managed, Gordon has been a regular for Liverpool’s Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 sides.
Now though after almost three-and-a-half years, Gordon is set to move out on his first loan spell in order to gather more first-team experience.
There has been interest in the player, particularly from Swansea City, who held talks about a potential swoop earlier in the week.
However, the Swans will not sign Gordon and Norwich City have now moved in.
The Canaries are expected to seal a loan deal before the transfer window closes at 11pm tonight.
It will allow Norwich to sanction Abu Kamara’s move to Hull City.
Gordon will come with European experience having played 75 minutes of Europa League football for Jurgen Klopp’s team.
