PSG had reportedly been keeping tabs on Lyon midfielder Rayan Cherki, who is linked to Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur. The 21-year-old has been in excellent form this season, tallying 12 goals and 19 assists in 43 appearances, and has emerged as one of the most promising young players in Europe.
According to a previous report from Graeme Bailey of TBR Football, Manchester United are among several Premier League sides following Cherki closely. Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Newcastle are also said to be monitoring him.
Interest in Cherki isn’t limited to England. Bayern Munich and PSG had both re-entered the race, drawn by his strong performances and considering potential moves. However, it now appears PSG are no longer in the running.
Foot Mercato reported Monday that PSG have ruled out a move for Cherki. The club currently has no plans to pursue the Lyon midfielder, and there’s no contact between the two sides—nor is any expected in the near future.

Le Parisien reports that Liverpool, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur are all exploring the possibility of signing Cherki. The 21-year-old is expected to move to the Premier League, with his release set at €22.5 million.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are said to be in the lead for Rayan Cherki, according to a recent report from The Mirror. Cherki could be available for around £20 million, with United seeing the French midfielder as a promising addition to bolster their attack.
