Liverpool will entertain Aston Villa at Anfield this Sunday as both sides look to secure a good result in the Premier League. The Reds managed to earn a hard-fought 2-1 win over Newcastle United recently. Similarly, the Villans secured a 3-0 win over Hibernian which will keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.
Jurgen Klopp will set his men up in a 3-2-2-3 formation and could ask them to dominate the ball and orchestrate enough chances to win this clash.
Unai Emery will opt for a 4-4-2 formation and might instruct his players to keep a good defensive shape at the back and try to expose the opposition’s weaknesses on the counter.
Liverpool
Virgil Van Dijk is suspended for this clash following his red card against Newcastle. Furthermore, Ibrahima Konate will also be sidelined for this game due to injury.

Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez will have to carry most of the goal-scoring workload for the Merseyside club in the final third. The performance of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai could go a long way in determining the fate of this clash at Anfield.

Both Diego Carlos and Pau Torres need to be at their best if the Villans are to restrict the home team from scoring this weekend.
Moussa Diaby and Ollie Watkins would be instructed to use their pace wisely on the counter and cause a lot of headaches for the Liverpool centre-backs.
