The Reds have had a week to prepare for this match as they look the bounce back from a defeat to Fulham last weekend, in what was only the second game they have lost in the Premier League this season.

Liverpool remain firmly in control of the title race though, leading by 11 points with seven matches to play, and they will be confident of taking a big step towards the trophy on Sunday.

Slot has been without Alisson since the Champions League defeat to PSG before the international break, with the goalkeeper missing the last two matches after failing to pass concussion tests, but the Liverpool boss revealed on Friday that Alisson is now fully recovered.

The same goes for full-back Bradley, who came off the bench against Fulham having been out for almost two months. With Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez also out injured, Slot had turned to Curtis Jones at right-back.

Asked whether Bradley’s cameo means he is now in contention to start, Slot said: “Yes, it does. Of course it’s a boost, it’s always a boost when quality players come back. Especially quality players in that position, because I think Curtis Jones is a quality player but it’s not his favourite position.

“So to have a player in his favourite position is always – not always - but might be better for the team. And Conor has done so well for us this season, just like Trent [Alexander-Arnold]. But when Trent then isn’t there, you always hope to look behind you and see that Conor is available.

“To have Conor back, I think we all would make the same decision and that’s playing Conor in that position.”

There are not believed to be any fresh injury issues for Slot to contend with.

Mohamed Salah will start in attack, fresh off the news he has signed a new contract, while Luis Diaz will hope to come back into the side in place of Cody Gakpo.
