Inter Milan have felt the effects of the long season, with 36 injuries to Nerazzurri players so far this season.
This is highlighted by Italian outlet FCInter1908.
Inter Milan have played more than fifty matches so far this season.
That means that the Nerazzurri have already surpassed last campaign’s total. And that is before the start of May.
Inter have therefore suffered injuries throughout the season.
That is the case for every team. But for the Nerazzurri, these physical issues have been particularly persistent.

Inter Milan have been without a few key players in recent matches.
Striker Marcus Thuram has missed the last two matches after suffering some muscular fatigue in last week’s Champions League showdown with Bayern Munich.
Meanwhile, wingback Denzel Dumfries and midfielder Piotr Zielinski have been out with longer. They’ve been absent for more than a month with strains to their thigh and calf respectively
And these are just the latest problems for the Nerazzurri.
Muscle injuries like these are an inevitable consequence of playing so many matches.
For example, the likes of Francesco Acerbi and Benjamin Pavard also both missed a number of weeks with injuries of their own.
Thuram has had a couple other knocks. As as Inter captain Lautaro Martinez.
And in midfield, every player has been out for one reason or another.
