Filippo Terracciano could remain at AC Milan for a little longer than expected, as highlighted by a report. Despite multiple clubs wanting him on loan, the Rossoneri need to keep him until at least next Thursday.
Terracciano has played a decent amount this season, not just covering the full-back role but also the midfield tandem. At the age of 21, however, it’s clear that he needs consistent playing time and 617 minutes halfway into a season isn’t good enough.
As reported by Daniele Longo, Milan’s idea was to loan him out this window with the likes of Empoli and Monza expressing an interest. However, due to Emerson Royal’s injury and Davide Calabria’s suspension, he will be needed against Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday next week.
It’s a crucial game for Milan as a win is needed to clinch a top-8 finish, which would send them straight to the knockout phase of the Champions League. As such, any loan move has been put on hold for Terracciano and it remains to be seen if things will change in the final days.
The mercato is open for a few more days after the game, so there is every possibility for him to leave afterwards. hopefully, he will put in a good performance and not get too distracted by the rumours.
