Aaron Cresswell has expressed his excitement in what could be in store for West Ham under Graham Potter.
Although the first match ended in a narrow defeat against a Champions Leage side in Aston Villa on Friday, it was clear the players have been significantly boosted by the arrival of the new Head Coach.
“I was delighted for Ollie Scarles to come in, get another match, and he was fantastic.”
West Ham next face Fulham in the Premier League tomorrow night, for which will be Potters first home match in charge.
Cresswell showed a clear air of excitement in looking forward to the match, as many hope will be the springboard to have a far more positive second half of the season.
“We’ve got to look forward now and move forward. We’re looking forward to Tuesday night,” added the defender.
“We only had a couple of days [before Villa] to sit down, go through tactics and how he wants to work and implement his style. Certainly over the years I’ve played against his Brighton side and Chelsea side and they’ve played some lovely football.
“I’m sure over time, you know, we’ll get to that stage, and as I say, we’re looking forward now to Tuesday night.”
