Lyon dominate Brann

Scorers: Diaani 6â€Č, 48â€Č, Hegerberg 23â€Č; Kielland 73â€Č

Lyon maintained their perfect run in the group stage so far with a statement showing over Brann. It was one-way traffic in France as the record title winners registered 24 shots to seven.

Kadidiatou Diani opened the scoring within the blink of an eye as she picked up a misplaced pass, took a few strides into the box and struck into the far left side of the net.

All-time leading scorer Ada Hegerberg then found another competition goal after stripping a defender of the ball and rolling it home. She now has 61 goals in 64 appearances.

Diani later secured a brace after the break when Lyon hit on the counterattack, and her pace proved to be too much.

Sonia Bompastor, however, might be disappointed her side did not net more against second-place Brann and also failed to keep a clean sheet.

Justine Kvaleng Kielland pulled one back after she was left unmarked in the box. It is the first goal Lyon have conceded in the group stage since October 2022.

Benfica edge past Frankfurt

Scorer: Alidou 71â€Č

Benfica managed to scrape past Eintracht Frankfurt thanks to one moment of brilliance.

Shots were plentiful throughout the match in Portugal, and it wasn’t until after the break that something could separate the sides.

Marie-Yasmine Alidou found herself in the box and chested down a cross before volleying home beyond goalkeeper Stina Johannes.

It was a history-making UWCL goal, too, becoming the first scored inside the EstĂĄdio da Luz, which exploded in celebration.

Meanwhile, Frankfurt will be kicking themselves for not making the most of their opportunities in a group that also features giants Barcelona.

Looking at the standings, Benfica are second and the German side are third.

Barcelona breeze past RosengÄrd

Scorers: Wik 16â€Č (OG), Paralluelo 37â€Č, Guijarro 44â€Č, Bonmati 62â€Č, Caldentey 73â€Č (P), FernĂĄndez 90+2â€Č

Reigning champions Barcelona let the goals fly against RosengÄrd to stay perfect in the UWCL group stages even without Alexia Putellas (injured) and Asisat Oshoala (benched).

The visitors had a stroke of luck in finding the opener as Jessica Wik turned a cross from Aitana Bonmati into her own net.

Then, while RosengÄrd did have Barcelona goalkeeper Sandra Panos sweating at times, the Spanish club eventually found their touch.

Salma Paralluelo doubled the lead from inside the box before she set up Patri Guijarro from range just before the break.

Ballon d’Or winner Bonmati chipped home a cross into the box from a tight angle, Mariona Caldentey piled on the misery from the penalty spot and Martina Fernández hit a sixth off the bench.

Six goals from six players helped Barcelona remain unbeaten since 7 December 2022, extending their run to 10 matches in a row.

Meanwhile, it was a third consecutive defeat for pointless RosengÄrd.
