Lyon make approach for Fulham target André | OneFootball

With a move for Stade Rennais’ Nemanja Matić (35) looking increasingly unfeasible, Olympique Lyonnais are considering midfield alternatives, including Fluminense’s André (22), according to L’Équipe.

André has been heavily linked with a departure from Fluminense this month. The Brazil international was a key part of the Fluminense side that won the Copa Libertadores, and the expectation is that he will now make a move to Europe. Fulham have been linked with a move for the midfielder, as have their Premier League rivals Liverpool.

However, the English clubs may now have to prepare themselves for competition from Ligue 1. According to L’Équipe, Lyon could make a move before the end of the month. Stade Rennais’ reluctance to sell Matić to a rival makes a move for the Serbian increasingly unlikely.

Fenerbahce’s Ismail Yuksek has been approached by OL, as has André. However, the Brazilian’s €30m price tag could prove prohibitive for Les Gones.
