Troyes are set for an intense 48-hour transfer window as they have made an approach to Jeff Reine-Adélaïde, midfielder for Olympique Lyonnais. Reine-Adélaïde, who is also being sought by Angers, is expected to make a decision today (Monday) on a move, according to L’Équipe.

The Gones midfielder was close to joining Sevilla last week, but following a medical the La Liga side did not follow up on the transfer – with their concerns over the player’s fitness seeing them pull-out of the move. The former Arsenal man did not fail his medical but showed a lack of pace due to recovering from his recent knee-related setbacks.

An agreement had been reached between the two clubs for the Frenchman, who has 14 league appearances this season, over what would have been an initial loan deal with a permanent option set at €12m.

However, he now has options elsewhere from within France, as relegation-threatened Angers were looking to bring the player on loan. Now, Troyes have also entered the mix. The Lyon midfielder will certainly have a busy next 48 hours.
