Manchester United’s hurdle with Paris Saint-Germain appears to be the Parisians’ asking price for Manuel Ugarte. Nonetheless, the Red Devils could receive income to help with this pursuit.

Manchester United have been tracking Ugarte for several weeks, but ESPN’s Rob Dawson reports that the club aren’t willing to overspend on the 23-year-old midfielder.

Journalist Ben Jacobs adds that PSG expect Ugarte to depart this summer, with sporting advisor Luis Campos leading the negotiations for his potential exit. Ugarte is eager to join Manchester United, with their latest verbal offer reportedly reaching €45 million.

Nonetheless, this is where the issue lies as the reigning Ligue 1 champions reportedly want €60 million for the Uruguayan midfielder. Still, the Premier League side might see income arrive from a transfer sale.

Corriere dello Sport reports that Scott McTominay has agreed on personal terms with Napoli. However, the Italian club struggle to meet Manchester United’s €30 million asking price unless they manage to sell Victor Osimhen first.

The summer transfer window has reached its final stages, and Manchester United will need to decide soon if they can work out an agreement with PSG or make a last-ditch effort for another target.
