With the January transfer window now open, Randal Kolo Muani’s future at Paris Saint-Germain is shrouded in uncertainty. The French forward has struggled to establish himself this season, raising questions about his role in Luis Enrique’s plans.

With only 453 minutes of action across all competitions, the 26-year-old has failed to secure a regular starting role. His situation grew more precarious when he was left out of PSG’s squad for the final three matches of 2024, sparking speculation about a potential exit.

According to reports, Premier League clubs are closely monitoring Kolo Muani’s situation, with Chelsea particularly interested in his versatility in attack, as per TEAMtalk. Arsenal is also said to be keeping an eye on the forward, with Mikel Arteta potentially eyeing a move in January.

Tottenham Hotspur have now entered the race, as Ange Postecoglou looks to reinforce his injury-hit squad. Kolo Muani is reportedly one of the attacking options Spurs are considering ahead of the winter transfer window.

Amid swirling rumors about Kolo Muani’s future, French football expert Robin Bairner shared his insights on the latest PSG Talking podcast. Bairner suggested Manchester United could emerge as the forward’s next destination, citing the club’s urgent need to strengthen their attack while staying within their financial constraints.

“In terms of where he’ll end up, the transfer window at this stage is so fluid,” Bairner said. “I think it’s certain that he leaves. It’s just a case of where he leaves to and what club decides they need a player who fits into their system immediately and can hit the ground running.

“We’ve seen Manchester United linked with him, along with a whole bunch of Premier League clubs. It may be that a team like that, desperate for a striker but without much money to spend in January, ultimately moves for him as an almost desperation move.”

TEAMtalk recently claimed that a £50 million bid could be enough to secure Kolo Muani’s signature, a bargain considering he joined PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt for £76 million in 2023.
