Multiple media reports state that the fee City will pay for the centre-back is set at £29.4m.

He has signed a four-and-a-half year deal at the Etihad Stadium and will wear the No. 22 jersey.

It is also reported that City have no plans to loan the player out and he will make up part of their first team squad immediately.
