Manchester United have confirmed Rasmus Højlund will miss the next ‘two to three weeks’ with a muscle injury.
The injury means the 21-year-old striker will sit out Saturday’s Premier League clash against Fulham at Old Trafford, as well as the midweek trip to Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup and next week’s Manchester Derby.
Højlund has been in brilliant form of late, scoring in his last six league outings, making him the youngest player to do so in the post-1992 era.
His absence is the latest injury blow for Erik ten Hag, who has already lost Luke Shaw for up to 12 weeks with a hamstring issue.
