Manchester United could consider signing Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain, as per reports.

Goalscoring was the biggest issue Ruben Amorim inherited from Erik ten Hag in November, and yet United decided against signing a new forward in January.

That decision has tremendously backfired as both Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have failed to find their goalscoring boots under the Portuguese, managing just 16 goals between them in all competitions.

During the winter window, United were among the clubs interested in signing Kolo Muani before he left PSG for Juventus on loan. Now, it is being suggested that the Red Devils could renew their interest in the Frenchman.

According to Givemesport, United are determined to add more firepower to their squad next season. Their aim is to sign a new number 10 and a striker.

There’s confidence that Wolverhampton Wanderers playmaker Matheus Cunha will join United but there’s uncertainty over the striker position.

United greatly appreciate Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap and Galatasaray superstar Victor Osimhen but both deals are being viewed as complicated.

It is claimed that the Mancunians remain unsure whether Delap “has the appetite to join them at this stage of his career” while any move for Osimhen “would depend on him lowering his personal demands and demonstrating a genuine desire to wear the shirt.”

The report claims that should United fail to attract their primary targets, Kolo Muani could “re-emerge as an option.”

Known for his ball-striking and aggressive runs, the 26-year-old joined Juventus in the winter window after struggling to get minutes under Luis Enrique in Paris.

He has been involved in eight goals in 15 appearances for the Serie A giants but it is believed that Juventus are unlikely to activate the option to buy him.

Kolo Muani’s standing at PSG is also not expected to improve in the summer and he could find himself back on the market and “may yet return to the thoughts of influential figures” at United.
