According to ESPN, Manchester United are willing to let Antony leave Old Trafford on loan this summer if a club is prepared to cover his £70,000-a-week salary. The former Ajax man has struggled to find form since his arrival back in 2022 and Erik ten Hag is reportedly looking to leave Antony out of his plans for next season.

At Ajax, Antony featured 82 times scoring 24 goals and providing 22 assists. The Brazilian winger quickly became a fan favourite at the Johan Cruyff Arena, but so far he’s been unable to replicate those fantastic performances in a Manchester United shirt. The Red Devils spent more than £86m on the player, and now Transfermarkt values the 24-year-old at just £21m.

United are currently going through a squad clear-out, with defender Raphaël Varane and forward Anthony Martial both leaving the club following the expiry of their contracts, whilst Mason Greenwood (Marseille), Willy Kambwala (Villarreal), Álvaro Fernández (Benfica) and former Ajax man Donny van de Beek (Girona) have also departed this month. Antony could be another player added to that list over the coming weeks.
