Manchester United target Randal Kolo Muani once again left out ahead of crunch PSG tie | OneFootball

“My decisions speak for themselves,” said Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique in relation to the future of Randal Kolo Muani (26). The France international is out-of-favour at PSG and was omitted entirely from the squad that faced, and beat, Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday.

Luis Enrique, despite saying that any player, including Kolo Muani, has the ability to reverse their situation at the club, has painted a bleak picture for the Frenchman, who ahead of the January transfer window, is attracting interest from Manchester United and AS Monaco. The latter are in the market for a replacement for Folarin Balogun, who will miss four months after undergoing shoulder surgery. A loan replacement is sought, although Adi Hütter admitted that Kolo Muani is not “the cheapest” option.

Kolo Muani is clearly surplus to requirements at PSG, as Luis Enrique’s latest squad announcement shows. The former Eintracht Frankfrut man is once again absent for the trip to face AS Monaco at the Stade Louis II. A win for Les Parisiens in the final Ligue 1 game of 2024 would see them go 10 points clear at the top of the table.

Nuno Mendes, who suffered a thigh injury against Lyon on Sunday, is also absent from the group, as is Presnel Kimpembe.
