Cottagers out to claim big scalp as Ruben Amorim eyes trophy
Manchester United and Fulham clash in the FA Cup fifth round this weekend.
United beat Ipswich 3-2 on Wednesday night in dramatic circumstances as the chaos continues under Ruben Amorim.
Still, the Red Devils were also rather unconvincing last season and still won this competition under Erik ten Hag, so the FA Cup holders can hardly be written off.
The Cottagers, however, are looking for a big scalp. Marco Silva’s side are enjoying another brilliant season and a deep cup run could make it an even more memorable campaign.
Here’s everything you need to know about the game.
Manchester United vs Fulham is scheduled for a 4.30pm GMT kick-off time on Sunday 2 March 2025.
Old Trafford in Manchester will host.
TV channel: The game will be broadcast for free on BBC One.
Live stream: The BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport website – which are both free with an email subscription – will offer a live stream.

Marching orders: Patrick Dorgu was sent off for Man Utd against Ipswich

Patrick Dorgu is suspended for United, having been shown a red card during the win over the Tractor Boys.
Lisandro Martinez and Amad Diallo are not expected to play again this season, while all of Mason Mount, Jonny Evans, Toby Collyer, Kobbie Mainoo and Luke Shaw are likely to be ruled out.
Fulham will be without Emile Smith Rowe, Kenny Tete, Harry Wilson and Reiss Nelson.
Fulham have already lost to his United side at Old Trafford this season. While logic would suggest the Cottagers will win, there’s something about United in cup competitions that leaves the door open to what would actually be a surprise victory.
Manchester United wins: 58
