Bayern Munich will have their work cut out for them tonight as captain and veteran keeper Manuel Neuer has been sent off.
The iconic German shot-stopper received his marching orders just 17 minutes into the club's DFB Pokal Round of 16 meeting with Bundesliga holders Bayer Leverkusen.

It's a career first for Neuer, who had never been sent off for club or country before tonight, and it could not have come at a more inopportune time for the Bavarians as they look to restore order in Germany after a disappointing 2023-24.
Vincent Kompany now has some thinking to do, even if Leverkusen themselves are performing below the fantastic standard set under Xabi Alonso last term.
