As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Marseille are in talks to sign Vitesse Arnhem’s defensive midfielder Riechedly Bazoer this summer.
The 25-year-old Dutchman is available on a free transfer this transfer window and the Ligue 1 side have contacted the player’s agents over a move next month. However, Bazoer is not the only name being considered for the role by OM, says Romano.
Bazoer represented Holland at every major youth level and has since been handed six Dutch senior caps, but he hasn’t played for the Netherlands national side since June 2016 with all of his outings coming in friendlies during the 2015/16 campaign.
The midfielder managed a goal and three assists across 25 games in the Eredivisie last season and has been interesting Ligue 1 sides for over a year with Marseille being joined by Lille and Lyon in reportedly monitoring the Ajax academy graduate back in March 2021.
