Gianluca Di Marzio reports today that Marseille full-back Pol Lirola has agreed to a move to Turkish outfit Alanyaspor, with negotiations on personal terms still ongoing between the Spaniard and the Süper Lig side.

Lirola, who was close to joining Serie A side Monza on an initial loan deal this winter, was playing back in his home country with Elche for the first half of the campaign, but has been unable to prove a mainstay for the bottom-of-the-table side. For this weekend’s win over Villarreal, he started from the bench.

The former Sassuolo and Fiorentina man, who came through the ranks at Juventus, is now set to join the Francesco Farioli-managed Turkish side. He dropped down the pecking order at Marseille this summer under new manager Igor Tudor after the arrival of French international Jonathan Clauss. In two full seasons with OM, he made 73 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals and registering six assists.
