There are a lot of potential moving parts for Aston Villa during the upcoming transfer period. For some, the intrigue of adding outside options is intriguing. For others, it will be more important for the current talent to stay with the club. Either way, with Monchi taking charge in that department, it can be trusted that the best available option will be made that favors Villa.

Naturally, challenges present themselves. On the one hand, having multiple players capable of starting throughout the lineup makes sense. The same starting XI playing for all 90 minutes in every fixture isn't likely to happen after all.

This comes with a potential pushback, however. For obvious reasons, players want to always be on the pitch. To play at the Premier League level, at a minimum, one needs a healthy level of self-confidence.
