Barcelona have received a massive boost ahead of their decisive Champions League semi-final second leg against Inter Milan.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Robert Lewandowski will be available for the crucial tie at the San Siro after recovering from a thigh injury that had kept him out for two weeks.
It must be noted that the Polish striker picked up the injury during Barcelona’s dramatic 4-3 comeback win over Celta Vigo on 19 April. He was forced off in the 73rd minute with a semitendinosus muscle strain in his left thigh.
The club’s medical report did not set a fixed recovery timeline, leaving his return dependent on how his body responded to treatment.
Fortunately for Barça, Lewandowski has made remarkable progress. He started training with the group today, just two days before the showdown in Milan.

In fact, inside the dressing room, his quick recovery is being described as nothing short of “miraculous.”
His dedication and work ethic have paid off, and manager Hansi Flick has now greenlit him for a potential second-half cameo, should the situation demand it.
It has been suggested that while Lewandowski will not start the match, Flick plans to use him as a high-impact option from the bench. Ferran Torres, who was rested entirely against Real Valladolid, is expected to lead the line from the beginning.
The Spaniard’s recent form and fitness give Flick a reliable attacking option, while Lewandowski’s availability adds valuable depth and experience.
Meanwhile, as reported before, defender Alejandro Balde has been ruled out of this clash.
With a place in the Champions League final at stake, Barcelona can now count on one of their most experienced and prolific players to contribute if needed. Lewandowski’s return could prove decisive even if only for 30 minutes.
