Therefore, it will be Mehdi Taremi who starts the match.

Without Thuram on the pitch, Inter will not have their top scorer in Serie A.

That is certainly a blow to the starting eleven.

But a player who Inter will have is their captain Lautaro Martinez.

The Argentine is currently Inter’s top scorer across all competitions. As he has been in each of the past three seasons.

Therefore, Inter will feel that Martinez has to be the player to step up.

The Argentine will have to show that he’s not reliant on his chemistry with Thuram to show his best form. And make sure Inter don’t feel the Frenchman’s absence.
