Chelsea have a so far unnamed centre back lined up for the summer, but could try to accelerate the move according to Matt Law.
The January window is now in full swing and Chelsea were expected to have a quiet month, but that has seemingly changed given given injuries to Benoit Badiashile and Wesley Fofana.
It looks like the Blues could bring a centre back in, whilst they are also exploring a move for Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel.
Chelsea have a number of options available to them and have already recalled Aaron Anselmino from Boca Juniors, whilst bringing back Trevoh Chalobah from Crystal Palace is another possibility.
The Blues also hold an interest in Marc Guehi, who currently has 18 months left on his contract, with the 24-year-old reportedly Chelsea’s number on target at centre back this month.

Palace valued Guehi at £70m in the summer, but given the time left on his contract his value has dropped, with Chelsea said to value their former academy graduate at less than £50m.
The Blues will also have other names on their list of potential targets, and Matt Law of The Telegraph has reported Chelsea have a young and so far unnamed centre back lined up for the summer, but could look to accelerate that move.
Quite who that is remains to be seen, but Chelsea have been linked with the likes of Tomas Araujo, Antonio Silva and Ousmane Diomande previously.
Perhaps during the course of this window the name will be revealed, but the Blues aren’t just looking to bring a centre back in, they are looking to move some on.
