The final fixture of our Women’s League Cup group phase is upon us and it’s a trip to VBS Community Stadium to face Crystal Palace – with eyes of securing a spot in the quarter-final of the competition.

Currently sitting top of Group E, after wins over Charlton Athletic and Aston Villa, a draw with Palace would be enough to claim top spot and a place in the final eight.

If we can succeed with a positive result on Wednesday evening, it will be a third consecutive season that we have progressed further than the group stage of the competition.

We have faced the Eagles on one occasion in the Women’s League Cup as we won 3-0 at Bromley’s Hayes Lane, with goals from Anna Filbey, Kit Graham and Lucy Quinn in November, 2019.

Across all competitions, we have had nine meetings with the south London side and have won eight of them, most recently, securing an impressive 4-0 win in this season’s Barclays Women’s Super League opener.
