As reported by Florian Plettenberg, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui are currently travelling to England to undergo their medicals at Manchester United.

It had previously been reported that the Premier League outfit were keen on securing the double signings of de Ligt and Mazraoui and were able to reach an agreement with Bayern Munich on Sunday.

It is understood that De Ligt will receive a five-year contract at Old Trafford with the option of an additional season, with the Dutch international potentially remaining at United until 2030.

As for Mazraoui, the Moroccan right-back will also receive the same five-year contract with the option of an additional season, as he looks to become a key feature at the Theatre of Dreams alongside de Ligt.

Bayern, however, are left in a difficult position, with the record champions failing to secure the services of both Jonathan Tah and Désiré Doué.

As to what they will do with the combined €60 million for both de Ligt and Mazraoui, it is now unclear.
