Mexico collected a third straight win after thumping Costa Rica in a women's friendly Saturday evening.
Scorers: Burkenroad 3', Camberos 18', Bernal 50, Pérez 60' ; Herrera Barrientos 25'
Two goals in the opening 20 minutes saw Mexico race out to quick lead, but their deficit was cut in half by an Alexa Daniela Herrera Barrientos strike before the 30-minute mark.
The hosts ran away with things after the halftime restart however, thanks to two goals in 10 minutes from Rebeca Bernal and Nicole Pérez respectively.
The victory is Mexico's third in a row after a defeat at the hands of the United States all the way back in the summer.
